Passion for painting

Roya Yaghoobi: Our visual artists play a prominent role in the Middle East

Painting was not something that I came to, as if painting had come to me before I was born! I mean the talent or rather the love for drawing and creation that was institutionalized in me and since I remember I loved creation and lines and colors, of course my tortuous and unpredictable life never allowed me to continuously To reach this love, but this love for creation was too deep to be lost, in addition, visual arts have been a reference for me for the rest of the arts, its deep connection with our whole life is undeniable. It is a very wide and equally deep ocean with no expiration date. For me, who has a character with a very high contrast, for example, while having a framework, a part of my being is always breaking the structures; Visual arts, especially painting, have been and are in perfect harmony with the music of my soul and soul, because while having rules, they don't have dos and don'ts.

In today's world, being limited in one art, being limited in a few familiar names, being limited in the geographical boundaries of a land, being limited in one language, one gender, A style, a line of thought and... It destroys art and I tried to take measures to the best of my ability, including that at the current stage in Turkey, which has many cultural commonalities with Iran, with my poet friend Ms. Sanam Nafi, we have created a small art cafe to the best of our ability and we are trying In addition to teaching painting, drawing, carpet weaving, etc., we will hold poetry reading sessions and book presentations for both Iranians living in Turkey and for other nationalities.
